Talyca is a small job board with one focus: remote work for people who live in Canada. We gather openings that Canadians can actually apply for, and we write down what we have learned about finding that work safely.
How a job gets onto Talyca
- Collected: once a day we read public remote-job feeds – currently mainly Jobicy.
- Filtered: we keep jobs whose location includes Canada or that are open to applicants anywhere, and drop anything older than a week.
- Checked for duplicates: the same job from the same employer is published only once.
- Published with its source: each listing shows the employer, the job type and the full description, names its source and links to the original ad. You apply there, directly with the employer.
- Removed: after 30 days the listing expires.
Employers can also register and post openings themselves. Browse everything on the jobs page or by category.
What we will never do
- Charge job seekers, or forward you to anyone who does.
- Ask for your Social Insurance Number, banking details or ID.
- Pretend to be the employer: Talyca is not involved in hiring decisions.
- Publish invented reviews, testimonials or numbers.
The guides
Alongside the listings we publish guides on remote career paths, applications, job scams, freelancing and home office taxes. They are based on official sources such as the Canada Revenue Agency and the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre, and we note the month a rule or figure was last checked.
