Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients across varied clinical settings, ensuring patient-centered, safe, and effective treatment aligned with established protocols.
  • Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for patients.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations, exercising sound clinical judgment and delivering lifesaving interventions as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation using electronic medical records (EMR) systems to support quality care and compliance standards.
  • Engage proactively in ongoing professional development, contributing to and participating in educational initiatives and quality improvement projects.

Qualifications

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Ontario, in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
  • Demonstrated experience in patient care, preferably within hospital or community health settings serving Northern Ontario populations.
  • Competency in emergency response procedures and critical care nursing practices.
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems for accurate patient documentation.
  • Bilingualism in English and French is preferred to support effective communication across diverse northern communities.
