Core Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for end-users, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
- Provide remote and onsite technical support, guiding users through problem diagnosis and resolution.
- Manage and update ticketing system records, prioritizing and escalating issues as needed.
- Maintain and configure Windows and Linux operating systems, ensuring system updates and security patches are applied.
- Assist in network administration tasks, including user account management, access controls, and connectivity troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to implement technology upgrades and preventive maintenance.
- Document processes, troubleshoot guides, and training materials to support user education and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience in technical support or related it support positions.
- CompTIA A+ certification is required; Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) or equivalent certifications are preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools.
- Familiarity with network fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, and Active Directory.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive and customer-focused attitude.
- Clear communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
