As the Remote Training and Development Specialist, you will play a critical role in shaping and elevating our remote training programs, ensuring employees and clients alike benefit from top-quality learning resources tailored to the virtual workplace. Responsibilities
- Design and develop engaging remote training courses and e-learning modules using instructional design best practices.
- Manage our Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring content is up to date, accessible, and seamlessly delivered across all platforms.
- Facilitate interactive virtual training sessions and workshops effectively using tools such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
- Collaborate closely with subject matter experts and stakeholders to create relevant and customized training content aligned with organizational goals.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of remote training programs through assessments, learner feedback, and data analytics to continuously enhance delivery and impact.
- Maintain clear and engaging communications with learners and teams to encourage participation and address any training-related inquiries.
- Support ongoing project management efforts by coordinating training schedules, resources, and timelines to ensure smooth execution of remote learning initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in remote training design and virtual facilitation, ideally within technology or digital education environments.
- Strong proficiency with e-learning platforms and Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Moodle, Canvas, or equivalent.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, with ability to engage diverse learner groups effectively.
- Competent in project management fundamentals with the ability to manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously.
- Familiarity with virtual collaboration tools including Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and related software to deliver seamless remote sessions.
- Preferred certifications such as CPTD (Certified Professional in Talent Development), ATD, or related credentials in instructional design or e-learning are highly regarded.
