Qualifications & Skills

  • Health Information Management certification (e.g., CHIM or equivalent) required

  • Strong knowledge of Canadian health data standards and Ontario-specific regulations
  • Experience with coding and classification systems such as ICD-10
  • Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals
  • Understanding of data privacy compliance, including PHIPA and related legislation
