Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line technical support to internal staff and external customers through Helpdesk ticketing systems, phone, email, and remote support tools.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hardware, software, network connectivity, and peripheral devices.
  • Assist with the administration and monitoring of Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and VPN access.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, network equipment, and software applications.
  • Document incidents, solutions, and IT processes accurately to maintain knowledge base integrity.
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to escalate and resolve complex technical problems.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and ongoing IT support process enhancements.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an IT support or technical support role.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, VPN technologies, and network administration.
  • Proficient in using Helpdesk ticketing systems and remote support software.
  • Competent in hardware and software diagnostics, including installation and troubleshooting.
  • Effective communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly to non-technical users.
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), or equivalent are preferred.
